Residents and tourists in Dubai can head to Global Village from tomorrow as it opens its doors for the 23rd season.

Global Village will showcase the heritage of countries including the UAE, Saudi, India, Jordan, Pakistan, Europe, Americas, Bosnia & Balkans, Thailand, Bahrain, Lebanon, Palestine, Afghanistan, Syria, Russia, Japan, Far East, China, Africa, Egypt, Morocco, Turkey Iran, Yemen, Kuwait. There will also be an Al Sanaa pavilion run by the Ministry of Human Development along with Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation pavilion.

The “Wheel of the World” has been redesigned to feature a huge 50-meter LED screen for live scenes, shows and views of Dubai.

Global Village began as a number of kiosks in 1996 located on the Creek Side opposite to Dubai Municipality. Then, it moved to t Oud Metha Area near Wafi City for five years before having its current  location in DubaiLand
