Future world’s tallest tower and largest mall to be built in Dubai Creek Harbour. Fugro has recently completed the deep foundation testing for the Dubai Creek Tower while several groups are currently taking part in the tender for the estimated AED15bn-AED18bn ($4bn-$5bn) deal to build the mall as reported by Meed and Construction Week.

Both the new world’s tallest tower and largest shopping mall will be built in the Ras al-Khor area on the banks of Dubai Creek, just a ten minute drive away from our latest development; Easy18. Other attractions in the area include Dubai Safari Park and Dubai Frame which and are located within 5 and 15 minute drive from Easy18 respectively. Major landmarks are currently in development in this part of Dubai as well. They include Mohammed bin Rashid Library, Cityland mall, and Dubai Museum of the Future. Easy18 sits in the heart of new International City with convenient access to adjacent communities such as Academic city, Nad Al Sheba and Silicon Oasis, top schools and universities, Global 500 firms. Over 60,000 people live in this area, and it’s becoming one of the emerging urban spaces in the city.

The total built-up area of the mall is expected to be about 3 million square metres, with 1.7 million sq m of retail, 550,000 sq m of residential, 180,000 sq m of commercial, a 175,000-sq-m basement, and a 40,000-sq-m hotel. Emaar’s Dubai Mall, which is the world’s largest shopping centre by total area, has a total area of 1.124 million sq m. The final height of The Tower has not been disclosed. To become the world’s tallest tower, it will have to be more than 1,008 metres in height, which is the expected height of the under-construction Jeddah Tower in Saudi Arabia.
