Since humans aren’t able to fly without help, drone photography gives us the opportunity to see the world through a bird’s-eye point of view:
Photographer and drone pilot Bachir Elie Moukarzel captures incredible drone photos from that bird’s-eye view, but hovers straight above landmarks throughout the city of Dubai to capture the extreme details of the wealthy city’s details with his Phantom 4 Pro drone.
“The different perspective – that we used to see only from planes while sitting at the window – we can now see ourselves anywhere in the sky and snap a picture from that angle,” Moukarzel told Chron.com. The Lebanon native has been living in Dubai for 15 years and was awarded the Dronestagram urban photography first-place winner by National Geographic in 2017.
He says his favorite things about Dubai are the incredible architecture, high-rise buildings and diverse nationalities living in the city. To see his awe-striking photos of Dubai from right above towering sites, go through the gallery above.
